Flexibele en veilige toegang via FTP Door de ondersteuning van FTP krijgt u nu ook via het internet toegang tot de bestanden. U kunt deze bovendien veilig delen door de extra beveiliging voor gedeelde mappen. Voordat deze mappen kunnen worden geopend, moet de gebruiker zijn of haar inlognaam opgeven. Voorts kunt u het nummer voor de FTP-poort nog wijzigen, beperkingen opleggen aan de bandbreedte voor up- en downloaden via FTP, en anoniem inloggen al dan niet toestaan. Bestanden delen tussen Windows en Mac Omdat de USB-schijf of -printer ook tussen Windows- en Mac-gebruikers kunnen worden gedeeld, wordt ook binnen een gemengde OS-omgeving het werk aanzienlijk efficiënter gemaakt. De ondersteuning voor het afdrukken van grote bestanden is vooral handig voor Mac-gebruikers die wel vaker zware grafische bestanden naar de printer sturen.
